City will Build 30 TMB Parks

Jakarta Provincial Government will build 30 Taman Maju Bersama (TMB) parks in five Jakarta regions this year. Parks will be built as interaction and education spot for residents.

Only 30 parks that have fulfilled administration requirements and ready for construction

Jakarta Empowerment Children Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) Dept. Head, Tuty Kusumatuty said, locations to build those parks have fulfilled administration requirements from Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Dept.

"Actually we have planned to build 47 parks, but only 30 parks that have fulfilled administration requirements and ready for construction," she informed, Wednesday (8/1).

Parks and Sidewalks Affected By MRT Construction Arranged

Her side has processed the construction of two of 30 parks since this June. Those parks are located in Kampung Baru, Kembangan, West Jakarta and Jalan Kampung Jati, Ciracas Urban Village, East Jakarta.

"Its construction budget is entrusted to Public Houses and Settlements (PRKP) Sub-dept. in each regions," she added.
